Array is seeking a Project Manager/Project Architect to join us as we continue to set the standard for excellence in healthcare design. The ideal candidate is technically proficient, design sensitive, and has excellent organization and communication skills. The PM/PA should possess the ability to work as an integral part of a project team, ensuring the translation of design intent into construction documentation. The PM/PA manages one or more projects during all phases of a project until completion and directs employees and consultants at all levels to ensure that proper steps and procedures are taken and that work is completed as planned, budgeted, scheduled and in conformance with the design intent.   • Ensure that production of construction documents are in concert with design of project. Manage the work of other professional architects. Directs project activity on projects of major significance to office.
  • Conduct schematic, design development and contract document work sessions at the project site.
  • Responsible for maintaining client relationships throughout project. Keeps client apprised of project progress on regular basis.
  • Identifies new business opportunities while developing current client relationships.
  • Communicates with consultants, contractors, sub-consultants and other disciplines to ensure project details are carried out including technical issues and project information.
  •  Manages project team for overall adherence to design intent and carry through. Reviews documents for adherence to building and ADA codes. Exercises authority over day-to-day activity of assigned projects.
  • Responsible for managing project budget, work plans, consultants and schedule. Develop detailed project schedule and communicate key deliverable dates to project team. Tracks fees and labor costs for conformance to contract. Responsible for financial outcome of projects.
  • Conducts schematic, design development, and contract document work sessions at the project site.
  • Ensure project documentation and contracts are in compliance with the standards set forth by the Project Delivery Board.
  • Initiates and maintains contact with other key project individuals for clarification, coordination and negotiation of critical issues.
  • Plans, organizes and manages work of project team. Provides technical advice and solves complex issues.
  • Provides on-going communication through team meetings, minutes, and up-date memos to project team.
  • Participates in selected marketing and business development opportunities.
  • Fosters and maintains a collaborative professional working relationship with the Project Leadership Team (i.e. Project Designer, Project Architect, Engagement Manager, and Principal in Charge).
  • Incorporates Integrated Sustainable Design solutions into projects.


  • Bachelor's degree in Architecture or equivalent in education or experience.
  • 8-10 years' experience in architectural practice with prior management experience in all phases of projects through post-occupancy preferred.
  • Registered Architect with current license required..
  • Strong knowledge of design, trends, construction methodology, material application, and manufacturer-supplier appropriateness.
  • Advanced knowledge of architectural building systems.
  • Thorough understanding of project work plans, schedules, staffing, and budgets.
  • Thorough knowledge of buildingSMART, Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Integrated Project Delivery (IDP).
  • Advanced knowledge of sustainability, integrated design and LEED guidelines.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects of a complex scope.
  • Possess strong hand and advanced CAD drafting skills.
  • Proficiency in Revit preferred.
  • Proficiency in Primavera or MS Project preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency in 3D Modeling software such as 3D Studio Max.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, Sketchup, and InDesign graphic software preferred.
  • Proficiency in Newforma preferred.
